This is a rare collection of memorabilia items from the highly successful 1961 Bakersfield Renegades football season.

There are (7) Official Football game programs including the rare 1961 Jr Rose Bowl Game. These programs all have great colors, they have a variety of issues like corner bends, light creases in areas, areas of discoloration are present. The programs all appear to be complete. Several of them were folded as if put into a man’s jacket. Overall, the programs are in good vintage condition.

There are (4) tickets from games during the season including a very rare Jr Rose Bowl ticket. There is also a 1961 schedule that would fit in a wallet or pocket. This schedule has light damage top center. It shows nine games and you will receive seven programs from the season. Two of the programs have the same cover but are different games.

There are (18) 3.5” x 3.5” pictures (black & white) that appear to be a charter bus trip for boosters going to watch the Jr Rose Bowl game. Banner on bus indicates Bowl Game. These are in good shape with typed info on bottom.

There are many news clippings from the 1961 season and the successful journey to the JR Rose Bowl game. The newspaper was the Bakersfield Californian. Several clippings have small tape on top where they weee previously attached to a scrapbook or something similar. Also included is an All-American gridiron index sheet from KMPC 1560 radio & Boystun Realty Co. It’s torn the bottom but no information was torn off.

Finally there is a photo negative with three people holding a jacket that has “Roving Renegade Rooters”. It measures 5.25” x 4”. It’s in good shape.
