A scarce book by Elizabeth Bacon Custer (1844-1933), the wife of General George Armstrong Custer, who was killed at the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876. Elizabeth traveled frequently with her husband during their marriage, and helped popularize his celebrity and “Custer’s Last Stand” heroism following his death.
