A bright and crisp H & R Daniel tea duo pattern number 3859 with Etruscan Angular Handle. This pattern was also produced on Old English (Royal Flute), Etruscan Spode Bell and London shape cup. Wouldn’t it be amazing to add this shape to your collection if you’ve already own some in other cup shapes? Or this duo could be the start of your quest for the rest?

Condition:

Both cup and saucer are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restores or crazing. Both pieces give a nice ring then tapped. There’re some minor wear and signs of usages but I think it’s not bad considering it’s almost 200 years old. There’s a glaze imperfection at the bottom of the cup which happened during production. This kind of imperfection is common for antique pieces fired in kilns using coals.

All our items are vintage/ antique and previously used, unless stated otherwise. Therefore, some wear marks are to be expected. For antique pieces (ie items which are over 100 years old), kiln dusts/ kiln splits which happened during production process should not be seen as flaws. Antique pieces were fired using coals as supposed to gas fire so temperature control was not always accurate. We always try to describe our items accurately and will always point out any obvious flaws.
