Please note below tips when installing,Find repair stores or professionals to install it as much as possible to avoid damage!

 

This dowel pin retainer is made of billet aluminum and because of the thickness of this retainer, it will contact the timing cover before it can back out. 

 

The dowel pin used in the Cummins engine can back out of its bore. 

 

When it does, it can fall into the camshaft gear and cause expensive engine damage.
