A very pretty little French purse that dates to the 1860 period. This small purse was made using the tatting technique in red tatting. This small purse is of 'finger ring' design

Finger ring purses were popular from the end of the 19th century on wards. The design has two decorative top bars to which a chain with a ring at the end was attached. The ring slips over the bars to secure and stop your coins escaping from the purse body

Purse measures: 6cm x 8cm

The purse is in good condition for its age (please see all pictures, there is some damage to the top)
