Please note that we are not professional comic book graders, but we are serious comic book collectors. We assign tough grades so you can buy with confidence. See below for a note on how we grade comics.
Our comics come stored in a clear BCW bag with a protective board, taped between two pieces of sturdy cardboard in a plain poly mailer envelope marked FRAGILE DO NOT BEND on both sides.
Comics ship USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail, buyer chooses and pays. We happily combine orders to save you money on shipping.
Homestead Estates is a small family business operating in rural Maine and serving the Sebago Lakes Region community.
We proudly recycle packing materials to minimize our impact on the environment, reduce shipping costs, and save you money.
We leave positive feedback to our buyers after we receive positive feedback ourselves or 30 days after the package has been delivered.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us directly before leaving feedback so we can work something out. If your package arrives damaged during shipment, please take pictures before opening.
Note that we are located in and ship from rural Maine, so shipping delays due to bad weather are to be expected from time to time, but we generally drop off packages Monday through Friday within one business day of received payment.

OUR COMIC BOOK GRADING SCALE:
POOR (0.5) - Very heavy wear and tear and/or significant defects, possibly including missing and/or clipped covers and/or pages.
FAIR (1.0). Very heavy wear and tear and/or significant defects.
FAIR / GOOD (1.5). Heavy wear and tear and/or some significant defects but okay reading condition.
GOOD (2.0). Moderate to some heavy wear and tear but good reading condition.
GOOD / VERY GOOD (3.0). Accumulated moderate wear and tear but no major damage.
VERY GOOD (4.0). Some accumulated moderate wear and tear but no major damage.
VERY GOOD / FINE (5.0). Some accumulated wear and tear but no major damage.
FINE (6.0). Accumulated light reading wear but nice shape overall.
FINE / VERY FINE (7.0). Light reading wear but very nice shape overall.
VERY FINE (8.0). Minimal wear; great shape overall.
VERY FINE / NEAR MINT (9.0). Appears unread and well cared for with very minimal wear. The highest grade we give a comic book.
