Here is an Apple UniDisk 5.25" external drive which I haven't tested, since I no longer have a good boot diskette

 

This is the original Unidisk 5.25" from the mid-1980s, in the same beige color as the original Apple IIe. Its cable ends in a DB19 connector, as found on an Apple IIc, IIgs, or 5.25" drive controller for a IIe.  There is a DB19 port on the back of this drive, so you can daisy chain two external floppy drives to the same controller.  It will also connect to an Apple IIc or IIgs
