Batman Monthly UK #1-45 + Batman monthly Presents (DC London Editions Fleetway 1988-91) Choose your Issues!

Batman Monthly was launched by London Editions Magazines, later Fleetway Editions, in July 1988 and ran for 56 issues until February 1993. All issues featured reprints of American Batman stories, with the first two years worth focusing largely on stories from the 1970s and early 1980s (and the occasional older story) and later issues bringing the character more up to date with stories from the late 1980s and early 90s. Batman Monthly also spawned an intermittent series of Specials, Batman Monthly Presents, featuring characters such as The Joker and The Penguin.

The UK's Batman Comic book, quite rare especially in high grade.

Condition

I rate the majority of these VF/NM to NM or better. Some issues have very light foxing. The majority are in remarkable unread condition with the exception of the issues listed below.

Issue #6, 10, 11, 27 and 28 have free gifts; Superman and Batman Poster, Detective Comics #27 poster, Batman #1 Poster, Breyfogle Poster and very rare Batman the Movie ruler, respectively. A few specific comments:

1 VG/FN Lower grade. Remnants of tape that held the free gift. Edge wear, spine ticks, bends.
3 FN Cover coming away slightly at the staples
4 VG/FN Edge wear. Indent on front cover. Some damage to back cover.
9 FN Some damage where free gift removed
15 VF Corner bend on first page
16 VF Light edge wear
19 FN Corner fold in back cover. Some marks where free gift removed.
20 FN Mark on back cover from tape residue
21 FN A few small tears along top edge of front cover and first few pages

34 VF/NM Tape left where free gift removed

39 VF Corner fold bottom right front cover
42 FN/VF Light mark on back cover

FR - Fair, FR/GD - Fair/Good, GD - Good, GD/VG - Good/Very Good, VG - Very Good, FN - Fine, FN/VF - Fine/Very Fine, VF - Very Fine , VF/NM - Very Fine/Near Mint, NM - Near Mint

Comics will be freshly bagged and boarded, and carefully packaged in an extra reinforced stiff board backed envelope or a box, and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or equivalent. International orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed.
