This is a very nice quality Edwardian period solid sterling silver footed dish, comport or tazza.

It has been hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office in 1909, with makers mark WA for William Aitken, as you can see from the marks. The piece measures 14 cms in diameter at the top section and the comport sits at a height of 10 cms.

The piece is weighted with a filled base, and the gross weight is approximately 150g.

The piece is in good overall condition with no damage, but do remember this an antique piece, so do not expect it to look brand new. There is a small ding on the rim which is hard to see, but the piece polishes to a very nice shine and displays well.
