It has been hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office in 1909, as you can see from the marks. The makers mark is GN & RH top silversmith George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
The piece has repousse work all over with a farming and landscape scene.
It measures 9 cms in length, 5.5 cms in width and stands at 2 cms in height.
It weighs approximately 90g.
The piece is in overall good condition, the lid has a small hole on the surface, as shown and there is some play on the hinge. Do remember this an antique piece, so do not expect it to look brand new. In saying that it looks and displays very well.
