This is a very nice quality footed card tray or small salver. The piece has an armorial as shown, but I have not researched this.

Made in solid sterling silver, as can be seen with the London assay office hallmark for 1898, makes mark for William Hutton & Sons Limited.

The tray is 14 cms in length, 16 cms in width and sits to a height of 2.5 cm.

The piece is in good condition overall for the age and polishes to a very nice shine as you can see. There are some light swirls marks and a few very small dings on the surface which are unnoticeable, but do remember it is an antique, so do not expect it to look new. The images also form part of the description.

It has an exceptionally heavy gauge with a weight of approximately 200g.

I also have an identical piece, should you wish to make this a pair, drop me a message to discuss.

This would make a lovely quality and unusual gift for someone, which can still be admired and enjoyed today.
