This was a very expensive and time consuming coat to produce, requiring expert tailoring of the highest order. Take a good look at the last few photos and see how the checked pattern is perfectly symmetrical on both sides and how the overcheck lines up beautifully against the sleeves and pockets. Highly skilled workmanship from master craftspeople. Made in the UK from 100% heavyweight Pure new wool cloth. Proper winter coat. Three concealed button fly front, notched buttonhole lapel with burgundy velvet collar, horn style buttons, two flapped outside pockets, plus breast hanky pocket, two inside pockets, plain back with centre vent, matching deep cherry red satin effect lining with the Crombie crest running through it. Coats like this are made big to allow for a suit jacket underneath. Usually 4"- 6"larger. Please check your measurements carefully to avoid disappointment. Size 38" Actual measurements are... Pit to pit 22.25" Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18.5" Shoulder seam to cuff 24.5" Length from collar seam to hem 40" The sleeves can be easily shortened, there are no buttons or false buttonholes to the cuff. The coat is in excellent hardly worn condition, however there is a flaw at the back as pictured. I take great care with the accuracy of my listings on all counts. Any faults will be mentioned in the description and will be highlighted in any photos. All used garments are thoroughly dry/steam cleaned killing any bacteria. All pockets are de-fluffed, checked for holes etc. Any minor faults such as loose or missing buttons, loose threads etc. attended to before dispatch.
