BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER CANTEEN WHITES UTICA COBALT BLUE.

Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canteen, Embossed "BARDWELL'S / ROOT BEER", attributed the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, Bristol-slip-glazed canteen with cobalt highlights throughout, decoration of running elk, the other side embossed "BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER" surrounding a floral motif.

This canteen is missing a wire and wood bail handle, a leather handle has been added.

Very good condition for its age with minor flaws.
