Here is a rare 1950s tea set by Beverley of Staffordshire, England.

The set comprises a teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug with an unusual metal fascia design, hand painted in an atomic style on a black ground. The teapot's cover has an insulated lining.

The set is in fair condition, with some signs of use on the teapot interior. The bowl has a repair to one handle and a small dent in the metal facia, while the jug has a hairline crack around the base of the handle. The surface glaze on the set has some crazing.

The set is marked on the base with the Beverley tableware logo, and the design registration number, dating the set to around 1957.
