Stagg of Melbourne vintage 70's / 80's Black Leather Biker Motorcycle Jacket
Very good preowned condition for the style and age.
General light wear and marks, which in my opinion only add to
the vintage leather biker jacket appeal.
Previous owner obviously had pins / badges on lapels, tiny pin holes
can be seen upon close inspection near press stud closure, not really an issue.
Normal scuffing / vintage wear to leather around wrist & cuff zip areas,
and bottom hem edge to jacket / belt.
Inner quilted red fabric has some loose / missing stitches.
Scuffing to left elbow of jacket. Slightly marked on red lining at bottom,
would come up great with a professional clean.
Creases to leather lower arms.. again, adds to vintage worn in appeal.
Very warm, heavy, quality genuine vintage leather jacket.
Leather is thick, and worn in perfectly.
Exact age unknown, estimate 70's to 80's.
2 zipped outer pockets with small ball and chain pulls.
Fully zipped and belt closure. Zipped cuffs.
Shoulder press stud tabs
Fully lined with synthetic red quilting.
Unisex design, though possibly originally men's
Size 6 on label, (vintage bike jacket sizing)
weight - 1.62kg before packaging.
Fits snug on hips, more relaxed in arms and shoulders.
Genuine motorcycle jacket fit.
*for reference I am female size AU 10, 167 cm height,
jacket fully zipped, fits me relaxed at top and upper arms,
snug on hips fully belted, a relaxed (boyfriend style) open jacket fit.
Great for wearing open over a jumper or top, warm yet could
use year long with many different looks.
Or use as intended, as a legit vintage motorcycle jacket.
Estimate best fit AU women's size 8 / 10 - possibly smaller 12
depending on fit preference
Or roughly a men's size XS to small
