Here is a classic Keene historical half pint sunburst flask. The color is olive green with olive amber tone. My photos make it look a little more olive amber.

Tagged as a GVIII-9 it was blown at the Keene glassworks in New Hampshire. It is in shiny perfect condition with just a trace of wear. The ribbing on  this one is very pronounced.

It is embossed P & W in the center oval on one side and KEEN in the oval on the other side. This is misspelled and should have been Keene. The P & W stands for owners Perry & Wood or Perry & Wheeler from 1822 - 1830.

The thick sheared lip is crudely made with in making features but is perfect. There is some typical base wear.

Overall this is a great looking little flask in fine condition.
