This three handled trophy cup was made by Swiss and French trained silversmith Joaquin Carl Bechtler who established his firm, JC Bechtler Son & Co. Ltd in the 1880s in Allahabad, India.

This trophy is engraved with flowers, and bears the inscription:

Men’s Singles Handicap. Mussoorie. 1915. Won by A.R.O.M.

The cup Measures approximately 14.8cm high and has a diameter of 13.8 cm, with an overall maximum width of around 22cm when including the handles.

There is a small dent on the front base of the cup (see photos), but this does not detract from its appeal.
