This 100 Taiwanese yuan (also known as the New Taiwan dollar) bank note is part of a series of bank notes that depict cultural themes. The obverse features a portrait Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the founder of the Republic of China, and a depiction of The Chapter of Great Harmony by Confucius. The reverse features the Chung-San building in Taipei. The security features of the note are a windowed security thread with demetalized 100, a watermark of plum blossoms and electrotyped 100. The note is 145 mm long and 70 mm wide.
