Made in the U S of A, this vintage Gary Player sweater by Puritan is made of 60% cashmere and 40% lambswool. It’s sooooo soft. The sweater was new on the rack back in the 1970s. Even though it clearly is marked as a men’s L, I would consider it a men’s small or women’s medium. Either men were smaller back then, or it shrunk a bit over time, but I can’t tell. It held it’s shape beautifully.

Ladies, don’t be afraid to try this on. I did, and if I don’t sell it, I’m going to keep it.

As you can see from the hem, a few spots of loose threads were repaired. I tugged on them, and they seem to be strong. What do you expect—it’s over 50 years old.
