For your consideration is what I believe is a Sunbabe So Wee Ruth E. Newton Black American rubber doll. This doll came in a collection of other Ruth E. Newton dolls, but this particular doll is unmarked. The characteristics are the same for marked Sunbabe So-Wee dolls. It is in very nice condition for the age and would be a nice addition to any collection. It measures approximately 11" tall.  It has a hole in the mouth for a bottle and a small hole in the bottom of the doll. Rubber is in very good condition and it has been very well taken care of. Face paint is also very colorful and in good condition with very little wear. I believe the rubber for these dolls were originally painted to have the darker skin with the same doll mold and light rubber underneath. The body has a slightly more red tint than the head has. I think this is common for these types of rubber dolls.  There are a few rub spots on the head that has light rubber underneath showing through. Could be touched up, but otherwise still in good condition as it is. She could use a light cleaning, but that will be left to the new owner for fear of damage.

She comes from a local doll collector's estate. She has been in storage for many years.  Please see photos to add to description. What you see is what you will get. I am not a doll expert and the photos will be helpful to show condition and any issues. We have provided many pictures for you to see the actual item you will receive.

She will be shipped in a box with bubble wrap for safe delivery.  Please keep in mind that during shipping doll hair, clothes, or other items may become unadjusted and will need to be straightened upon delivery. All items are sold as found. Please feel free to message with any questions or concerns.
