1958 Cadillac Series 62 88,000 miles

Clean Oklahoma Title.

Original 365 V8 and Hydramatic 4 speed automatic transmission.

I drive the car every few weeks to local car shows and things like that.

I am the 3rd owner of the car. The 2nd owner did some work to the car but also let it sit for years. The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt, sandblasted and powder coated the wheels and the spare, put Coker tires on, had the brake booster and master cylinder (treadlevac) rebuilt. The gas tank has also been replaced or relined.

I've owned the car since April 2022. Since then I changed the oil, coolant, rear differential gear oil, power steering fluid (ATF). I repacked and adjusted the wheel bearings, installed an edlebrock 1406 carb, installed new valve covers, changed the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and condenser. I had 40 series flowmaster mufflers installed and the exhaust guy left a hole in the right side exhaust pipe and then retired before I could have him fix it. It should be easy to patch but I don't have a welder.

The car has the orignal paint and suface rust. Few if any areas of the car are rusted through. The floors, frame, and rockers are solid. The interior needs to be completely redone. The chrome on the car is in great shape overall.

The bad- The front windshield is cracked, the fuel gauge doesn't work, the oil pain and probably timing chain cover leak oil. There is a vibration especially at highway speeds, I think the wheels just may need to be balanced. I have a new fuel sending unit and oil pan gasket that will go with the car.

I have the original carb, valve covers, and air breather that go with the car. I also have the owner's manual and a 1957 cadillac shop manual.

This car is a great candidate for a total restoration, cruising as is, or an LS swap. Im not looking for trades, I am selling the car to put money towards building a shop.
