KALAMAZOO Mich. / JUN 13 (1842) [Kalamazoo Co., 1836-Date] Very Fine faded red circular date stamp with blue manuscript rate “25” on folded letter addressed to “Mr. Elijah Green, Gill, Mass.” With nicely written 2-page letter datelined “Plainfield, June 10th 1842” and signed by “Joel Batchelor” covering a few subjects. Nice Fine condition, cpl. Internal seps not affecting the letter. A nice addition to any Michigan stampless cover collection.
