The rarest of the TR range, around 2500 having been built for the export market, and 18 'press release' RHD models, prior to BL's cancellation of all sports car production. This was a crying shame as they had at last produced a modern convertible sports car that was quick, comfortable and sounded glorious.

This is a genuine factory built example that has just been imported from the west coast of Canada. It has power steering, five speed box, standard alloy wheels, and uprated with an Edelbrock four barrel carb. The mileage is 40,000 (62,000km) and it is a very solid, original example that has had an older repaint in it's factory colour of Persian Aqua, and still has it's original rare blue velour interior. Mechanically excellent and drives very well. It is UK registered  with all import duties paid, and comes with it's Heritage certificate confirming matching numbers, original colours and destination, etc.

There are plenty of TR7 V8 conversions available, some of which leave a little to be desired, but there are very few genuine factory built TR8 convertibles.
