THE DAY THEY GAVE BABIES AWAY, Dale Munson (1991)
Ballantine. 1st Paperback Printing.

Ex-library copy in Good condition. Book was kept out of circulation in order to preserve it. Binding is tight and pages are clean and intact. Usual library stickers on spine and front fly, stamps on inside covers and edges of text block, and a card holder is pasted to inside of front cover. Spine and inside hinges have been reinforced with heavy library tape. Interior is in very good shape - flaws are simply the cosmetic remnants of being a former library book. This is a highly collectible paperback that recalls a tender Christmas morning in a small Wisconsin town in 1868, when an orphaned family of immigrant children were adopted by the community. Beautiful illustrations are by Phil Huling.
