Replace the battery: If the battery "+-" sign appears on the display screen, the battery should be replaced. Remove the screws, open the back cover, and replace the used battery with a new one (AAA, 1.5v*2, or equivalent).
Auto Power Off.
A. If you do not operate the meter for about 15 minutes, it will turn off automatically. To turn it on again, simply turn the range switch or press the button.
B. If you press the Hold button to wake up the meter after it has turned off automatically, the auto-off feature will be disabled.
