"Pastel Girl #1" is an original chalk pastel portrait of a girl on paper. Taking inspiration from Degas and Toulouse-Lautrec, this short series of impressionist portraits are unique one of a kind artworks. All my chalk pastels are given a layer of fixative to preserve the colour and protect the surface but they can still smudge so I would recommend framing without glass or using spacers to keep glass away from the chalk pastel surface.
This painting is new, in that it is an original unsold work of art, but being an original painting there is obviously no original packaging etc.
