This is one of the earliest candle molds we've ever had the pleasure of owning in our early lighting collection. It's definitely an old handmade colonial one from a seasoned tinsmith and has the best old patina. It was used a lot in it's time probably for making tallow or beeswax candles. Please study the pics and see the handle and the way it's made with a boxed top. It makes 10 inch candles. It's a good one to use as a display for your living history museum or reenactment events and it's still useable for wax too.

From a very clean smoke free homestead so never any allergies or other apologies here with us.

Thanks for visiting our little family business here on eBay where we have enjoyed selling to many happy buyers for almost 18 years now.  We appreciate you very much!

Many Blessings! :)

**PLEASE NOTE**
We sell on various sites including our own and also still wholesale to some long time buyers so this item might be listed somewhere else at the time you see it on here. If a sale occurs on one of our other sites we try to manage the listings here to coincide with our other selling venues to reflect the most accurate availability of our items. Sometimes this can cause confusion if we have to cancel a sale because it simultaneously sold elsewhere so please understand this situation and respect how we do business to be fair to everyone since there's no way to link all of our sites together right now to reflect the status of an item in real time. Thanks for your understanding!
