Up for sale is a book, "Lives of Eminent British Statesmen" by John Forster. Published in 1839 by Longman, Orme, Brown, Green & Longmans, London. First Edition. This is volume VII only.  Black and white portrait on the title pages is the only illustration.

Full leather cover with gilt design.

Leather cover has some edge and corner wear with a few marks and scratches. The title label on the spine is worn off. Former owner's label on the inside of the front cover. A few small marks on the title page, otherwise the pages are clean, a little tan, 455 pages long and the binding is firm.
