RARE Vintage Lady Sheaffer IX Balicon Red on Gold Fountain Pen, M Nib *Nr MINT*
Lovely rare vintage pen made in the early 1960's. This was a clipless range consisting of around 22 models. Gold engraved finish in a Balicon pattern with Red. It has an inset gold plated stainless steel nib and red section. This is one of the rarer models in the range and is very collectible!
Condition report:
The pen is in near mint cosmetic condition apart from a few minor signs of wear where the cap has been posted on the barrel (see photo 4). Gold engraved finish in a Balicon pattern with red. The red inlay is in perfect condition. This is a clipless design. An inset gold plated stainless steel nib in perfect condition is fitted. No size marked but looks like a medium. Uses Sheaffer cartridges (none supplied ). Not tested as I do not want to dirty it. No box.
