This is a mint condition example of an original pocket crest for the French Foreign Legion 2nd Company, 2nd Foreign Legion Parachute Regiment (2 REP) in Djibouti.  No hallmark.  This is insignia No. 132-14 in Baltzer & Micheletti’s “French Airborne Troops Wings & Insignia”.  This insignia was first version of the insignia for the unit, which was later produced by Drago and FIA.   WARNING:  These G/et/P pocket crests are being reproduced by a French dealer, Ixxx, to include hallmarks and other details.   They are being sold by this dealer as original GP insignia, however, they are fakes, reproductions, intended to defraud collectors.   BEWARE
