Sony E/NEX Fit Pentacon Auto 50mm F/1.8 Bubble Bokeh Meyer Oreston
This fantastic lens can trace it's lineage back to the well regarded Meyer Oreston 50mm F/1.8 and is in effect the same lens with a newer cosmetic design and superior multi coatings on the optics.
The 50mm focal length lends itself to portrait work but the lens also makes a great general purpose lens with the fast F/1.8 aperture enabling the user to use shallow depth of field to isolate subjects, an aspect that this lens excels at due to it's attractive rendering of out of focus parts of the image, known as "bokeh" This particular lens is famous for it's Bokeh, with a distinctive look often referred to as "bubble bokeh" or a "painterly" look.
The fast aperture also allows for higher shutter speeds meaning the lens continues to be usable in light levels that would cause slower lenses to succumb to shake induced blurring.
This classic lens really produces gorgeous looking images that are full of character. The bokeh is distinctive, yet smooth, and the mult coated optics allow for high levels of contrast and punchy, vibrant looking colours.

This lens comes with a removable Sony E mount adapter allowing it to be fitted to all Sony mirrorless cameras that use the Sony E mount aka NEX mount.
The adapter is non destructive and when removed, the lens has a "M42" mount and it can be very easily and cheaply adapted to pretty much any camera available today. I have personally used this lens on my Canon 60d, a Sony NEX-5 and a Panasonic G1 and GH2! There are M42 adapters available inexpensively for the following systems and more:

Adapters are in plentiful supply on ebay, just ask if you require any advice!
The lens is a manual optic and hence focusing and aperture must be adjusted manually but the camera will still provide automatic exposure when using AV mode! I recommend using the camera in liveview mode for focusing as you can zoom in and get the focus just right! I even use this manual focusing technique with my autofocus lenses if I have time as it often results in sharper focus than the camera can manage by itself!
The lens is in very good working condition overall with just normal signs of use and not abuse! A few bits of dust/specks as with any used lens, but no impact on IQ. Fully tested on Canon and Sony cameras and delivering gorgeous looking images.
Both the focus and aperture mechanisms function correctly.
The lens comes supplied with an M42 to Sony FE adapter and front + rear caps.
