This old map of Denmark would have been a part of the comprehensive atlas by la Tour that encompassed geographical, civil, and ecclesiastical information about various regions.

"Atlas Géneral, Civil et Ecclésiastique" is a renowned atlas that encompasses a wide range of geographical, civil, and ecclesiastical information.
It was created by Louis Brion de la Tour, a prominent French cartographer of the 18th century.
Brion de la Tour was a Ingenieur-Geographe du Roi and known for his meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in mapmaking.
De la Tour was one of the leading cartographers, his work was produced in collaboration with Louis-Charles Desnos (fl. 1750-1790) a Danish royal cartographer.

The publisher Simon Claude Joseph Desnos, was a notable publisher who was involved in the production and distribution of various maps and atlases during the 18th century.
