Silver Albert Chain Necklace with T Bar and Fob with Fully Matching Hallmarks 16.5" 58.8g

A superb example in completely original condition, which is fully marked for silver with the lion mark on every link of the chain, and all the other links too. All of the hallmarks match The piece is stamped with Birmingham Anchor mark and date letter B for 1926 and maker's mark A.S. to T Bar, Dog Clips and to the middle link of the chain. Dog clips both in very good shape and working very well with no issues at all. There is some wear commensurate with age to the silver, but in good condition with no damage. The fob is also fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1925 (see pics), and has a 9ct Gold shield to the centre, and a crown motif to the top, with an inscription which reads: PRESENTED BY BOOSEY & CO LTD LONDON. This company went on to become Boosey and Hawkes, the noted musical instrument sellers.

The Fob and T bar are mounted on a neat sliding rig.

This Albert chain would make a fantastic addition to any collection of Alberts, or is ideal for wearing as a necklace, being 41cm or 16.5" in length, and having uniform links and a gorgeous fob.
