This vintage 1950's or 1960s U.S. ARMY VERTOL 107 Twin Turbine Helicopter is a great example of an early tin litho friction drive toy. Made in Japan by HAJI Toy Company, this aircraft features colorful lithography with wonderful details. Condition is good. The twin blades fold and you can spin them, but they do not turn with the friction (perhaps something is wrong with the internal mechanism). There may also be some light rust spotting and tiny dents, but overall appearance is fantastic! The body of the helicopter measures just under 13" long and stands about 5.5" tall at the highest spot.
