Made by the famous Thwaites & Reeds, the oldest clockmaking company in the world, here we have a superb vintage miniature clock and wall bracket. As I hope the pictures show, the whole piece is in superb, original condition. The lacquered brass-work shining bright, the silvered body clean and mark free, the wood of the bracket retains its deep lustre, while the fabulous blue of the dial really pops......superb. 

Inside the clock the quality continues. The 8 day, platform movement is as bright as a button, spotless. It bares the famous Thwaites & Reed name, engraved to the back-plate (also carried on the cartouche on the dial). It comes with a double ended key, one end for winding, one for setting the time. 

Condition: wonderful, original condition throughout and in full working order, keeping very good time. As it is with its original wall bracket, the new owner has the choice to display as either a wall clock or as a mantel clock.

Measurements are:

Clock: 6 inches high (handle down), 4 1/4 inches wide, 2 3/4 inches deep.

Bracket: 5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep.
