Antique Victorian  Kate Greenaway Style  Framed Childrens Illustrations (2) 1901 Larger Picture Measures 4.5x5.5" Smaller Measures 3.25x5"

Charming set of 2 framed antique Victorian illustrated Kate Greenaway style pictures.  ***These illustrations were taken from a child's school book from 1901 and later framed.  There is an inscription concerning this on the back of 1 of the pictures, photo 5.*** From the style & color of the frames, these were probably framed in the 1960-1970s.

The illustrations feature children dressed in period 1900s Victorian clothing. The smaller one has children marching in a line wearing paper hats while a dog looks on in the background.  2 of the children  are carrying American flags. The other picture has 2 girls looking out at a field of horses & cows.  Both are charming and are the perfect size for tabletop display, cabinet display, or hanging in a small nook.

Pictures are in good preowned vintage condition.  ***There is some pencil writing above the girls' heads in the larger picture, photo 14.*** Please enlarge pics.   STANDS NOT INCLUDED.
