René Gustave PLUVINAGE, born April 17, 1902 in Avesnes-le-Comte (62) to a father on horseback and died on October 4, 1983 in Bourg-la-Reine (92) at the age of 81, and a French designer and watercolorist. He drew throughout his life, encouraged from the age of ten by his teacher. Quite eclectic, he liked to sketch characters and landscapes from life. In the second part of his life, he developed a watercolor technique using black and white Indian ink.

The royal castle of Collioure (Catalan: Castell Reial de Cotlliure) is a fortified complex located in the commune of Collioure, in the department of Pyrénées-Orientales. The castle itself is medieval. The first mention we have dates from the beginning of the 13th century. It was erected on the site of a fortified village in the 7th century. It was then reworked from the 13th to the 17th century by being incorporated into a citadel which gradually pushed all the dwellings towards two coves on either side of the site.
