Victorian Era single sheet vellum manuscript indenture [Lease] dated 12th August 1841 between John Sargent of the Borough of Liskeard in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, of the one part and John Mitchel of the Parish of Linkinhorne in the said County, Cordwainer, of the other part.

The document is the Lease on all that tenement or dwellinghouse together with two herbers or herb gardens and a small orchard behind the house together with commons of pasture in the town place, situate lying and being in the village of Rilla Mill in the Parish of Linkinhorne in the Couth of Cornwall together with all houses, outhouses, edifices, buildings, stables, yards, orchards, ways, paths, passages etc.
The consideration of the sum of five shillings. 

The indenture has the usual age related folds and crinkles, minor and very faint patchy browning and minor ink staining to the right side of the upper and lower margins. 
The manuscript is clear and legible throughout.

  The indenture comes with one red wax seal and one blue tax stamp.

The indenture measures 40 cm x 57 cm and weighs 38g without packaging.
