Up for bid is this hand-painted and signed in gold paint Russian lacquer box of a young girl picking strawberries.  The scene may represent a Russian fairy tale, but my knowledge of the Russian language is too limited to figure that out.  The box measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" square at the widest point, the lid is attached via a good working hinge and the interior of the box is red lacquer as shown.  The box is in very good pre-owned condition.  Add to your collection today.
