Beautiful used 2023 John Mayer Signature Model "PRS Silver Sky"!

John Mayer is not only a guitarist, but also a vocalist and songwriter, and is now one of the biggest names in the Grammy Award-winning music industry. The Silver Sky is a revolutionary "newly designed PRS guitar" in the history of PRS, and it took more than two and a half years to complete to meet John Mayer's wishes.

This time, we have just received one of the latest specification guitars since 2023.
The body is made of Alder wood, which has a moderate weight, and the ST-shaped body produces a mid-toned sound with good resonance, which is a great feature that has never been seen in PRS guitars.

The rosewood fretboard on this model makes the colorful body color stand out even more. The neck shape follows the vintage 1963/1964 shape, and the 7.25-inch fingerboard has a vintage feel from the moment you pick it up.

The headstock shape is based on the trademark PRS shape, but with consideration for John Mayer's playing style, the string length from the nut to the pegs has been sufficiently secured, and the peg positions have been offset to further enhance tuning stability. The tuners are newly developed and are of the traditional vintage-style closed-back type but with a locking mechanism.

Like the tuners, the steel tremolo is also a classic design, but with a PRS tremolo arm and GEN III knife-edge screws. The bridge is tuned to be solidly attached to the body when tuned.

Also, starting with the 2020 model year, a new PRS finish called "Nitro over Celluose (NOC)" has been adopted, which is thinner, sturdier, and more durable than ever before. The new finish is thinner, sturdier, clearer, and more musical in sound.

The 635JM single-coil pickups were developed after extensive research of vintage pickups by Paul himself. The 635JM single-coil pickups are truly superb. They follow the player's nuances with great agility, and you will want to actively manipulate the volume, tone, and other controls to make the pickup a truly versatile gem.

Developed based on the single-coil guitars of the 1963/1964s, this is truly the ultimate guitar that Paul and John Mayer were aiming for.
