This is a Rare Vintage Alpine CD Head Unit, model # CDA-7930, AM/FM, with Ai-Net 4V PreOut, Sub and more. It's loaded with features!!! This unit was produced back in 1996!! It shows normal signs of use but still in great condition and excellent working order. It has been in storage for over two decades. Most exotic sports cars came with these Head Units back in the early to mid 90's. Before you read any further, let me remind you that this unit is intended for audiophiles only. It will require a power amplifier in order to work. Unlike most typical and cheaply made Head Units, it does not have a built in amplifier. That's what makes this unit so unique!! They didn't make too many of these models and these were made in Japan, hence, much better quality. ( If you need an Amp, I may be able to provide one ) I might have some standard ones as well as some high powered Amps). If you are building a vintage kit car, restoring a vintage vehicle or simply want a nice head unit to match your vintage ride, this will do the trick. This is the perfect Head Unit for car stereo enthusiasts who want to add power amps, an equalizer and CD Changer. The unit is still in great condition other than a few surface rust spots on the top cover of the chassis resulted from scuffs made by the sleeve and aging of course. That can easily be cleaned out!! No cracks or any major damage!! Faceplate has been kept in its original case so still looks great and works like new. The head unit has been fully tested and works as intented!!! All channels were tested out for sound and they all work flawlessly. That includes both front and rear channels as well as Sub channel. The AM and FM bands were tested out and they both work excellent. Some commercial CD's were inserted in the head unit and they all worked perfectly. All controls, buttons on faceplate work flawlessly. This Head Unit came from a non-smoking environment. Very good condition for its age !!! These are a very hard to find, much less in this condition. Included with the unit is the faceplate and case, wire connector, sleeve and Alpine remote which works perfectly. Given the age of this unit, it's being sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Please view all the attached photos carefully as they may add to the over all description. The unit has some marks on the case which are from installation and aging. Other than that, it's in very good condition!! You will receive exactly what you see in the attached photos, nothing more, nothing less.
