This listing is for  6 Trailing Calibrachoa  Mixed plug  plants.

Calibrachoa is an easy to grow, low-maintenance plant that displays masses of bell-shaped, mini petunia-like blooms from spring until the first  frost. They produce so many flowers that they are known as million bells.

The blooms cover long, cascading branches that make the plant ideal for containers or hanging baskets

Calibrachoa have masses of  flowers which bloom from early spring right up until the first frosts of winter. They require little attention with the occasional dead heading they will continue to flower all season.

You will receive a mix of 6 different unnamed varieties. The picture shown is an example of some of the varieties which we grow.

These are excellent in hanging baskets or patio pots either on their own or mixed with other trailing plants such as trailing fuchsia, geraniums, lobelia etc.

The majority of our plants are grown in  peat pots which have a biodegradable  mesh. The roots will grow easily through this mesh and removing it can damage the roots and effect growth so we do not recommend removing it.

Please look at the pictures above so that you can see the normal size of the plugs (shown beside a £1 coin for scale) which you will receive.

We have over 30 years experience in production and mail order of plug plants.

Please look at our extensive range of basket and patio plants in our shop.

Our store is updated weekly from Thursday with plants which are ready for dispatch the following week so please look back for new varieties.

Caring for your plugs

Plugs should be planted into a good quality peat or John Innes based compost. We do not recommend growing in organic, peat free or homemade compost as too many nutrient problems can occur.

The majority of our plants are grown in  peat pots which have a biodegradable  mesh. The roots will grow easily through this mesh and removing it can damage the roots and effect growth so we do not recommend removing it.

We recommend potting into 9cm pots or packs on arrival and planting into baskets and tubs when the roots have filled the pots.

Plants should be grown in a well lit and well ventilated environment. Strict hygiene should be observed to avoid disease problems. Light feeding should begin 3 weeks after planting.

Pinching out the growing tips will produce bushier plants with more flowers.

After 4 weeks plants should be budded up and ready for potting on into borders pots or baskets.

We recommend feeding  weekly with a feed high in potassium such as tomato feed as this encourages the production of more flowers.

Deadheading occasionally will encourage continuous flowering.

These plants should be protected from frost at all times.

We do our best to ensure that plants arrive in the best possible condition but sometimes packages get damaged in the post. If this happens please take photos and send them to us so that we can resolve the problem.

Please use the Ebay messaging service for any correspondence.

Happy growing.
