Heavy Sterling Silver Souvenir Thimble Made by The Thimble Collector’s Guild, Birmingham, England 1991

This is a thick, heavy sterling silver thimble made by The Thimble Collector’s Guild with a plaque on the front showing a woman riding a galloping horse, a daisy pattern on the top, a randomized texture around the middle and a narrow faceted rim below a plain band.  The thimble is in good condition with minor scuffs and scratches that are less visible in real life than in the magnified photos.

The Assay mark is for Birmingham, but it seems like The Thimble Collector’s Guild was in Biggar Scotland.  So it is possible the thimble was made in either place in 1991.
