The fair trade partnership ensures that a fair price is paid for production, with 50% of payment being given upfront. The working partnership centres on trust, transparency, respect and friendship and help is given to develop new skills. 50% of the producers profits set up and fund local community welfare projects including schools and nurseries; a community health centre; outreach clinics; an accident relief centre; AIDS awareness projects and veterinary projects.
The fabulous Fair Trade Handmade Fabric Chick Hanging Characters from Believe You Can ..... each have their own unique characteristics and include a gift tag with a quote unique to that character. Made from high quality fabric, they are embellished with coloured stitching, sequins, beads, ribbon and tiny bells. They have a hanging ribbon, enabling you to display them where they can be seen by everyone. The Chick Characters stand 12cm in height excluding the hanging ribbon.
