Rare Light Blue Dial Glossy Bezel Seiko Jewel Fish SBCB003 V145-0H40 Solar Quartz Diver with Original Bracelet. This very interesting diver was designed with the input of the late Audrey Mestre-Ferreras, wife of free diver Pippin Ferreras and dates to April 2000 based on the caseback. Audrey passed away tragically 10-12-2002 attempting to break the free dive world record. The watch is in very good shape with minimal scratches on the case/caseback. The domed mineral crystal does have a few scratches and is very unique with a painted inner chapter ring. The unidirectional light blue bezel with an acrylic coat rotates well and has light wear. Dial is a spectacular light gray-blue with good strength on the lume. Screwdown crown secures well and quickset date work without issues. The movement is a V145 solar movement accurate to 15 seconds per month with up to a 6 month power reserve; it is charging and running without issues. The stainless diver extension bracelet loosely fits my 7.5 inch wrist with 1 microadjustmenst; there are no extra links; if you wear your watches loose this is safe under 7.25 inches. No box/paper/tags. Given the size and design, this would also work really well with the ladies. Water resistance is 100m; but the watch has not been pressure tested so this is not guaranteed. This is really a unique "jelly bean" diver from Seiko and very hard to find - don't miss out!
