Possibly dates from the 1950's or '60's and features a hand painted,Asian inspired theme.Base material appears to be fibreglass.

Quite large in size-Measures approx' 16" in diameter at its base and about 11" in height.

No doubt this was intended to be used on a floor standing standard lamp,or maybe a large table lamp.Would've had a inner wire cage to mount onto the bulb-holder,although this is missing.There are three small locating holes on the lower rim and a replacement supporting cage could be easily fabricated.

A quite attractive piece,that features two Indian looking ladies and a floral background.Very unusual piece....Very Kitsch.Would look good in almost any setting.Seems to be well constructed and is nicely painted.

Condition is very good,with just slight paintloss to the top crown.
