This is a new unused bone china dinner plate in the 'Asiatic Pheasant' pattern, perfect for the kitchen, dining room or hutch.

It is made from bone china clay, glazed and decorated with our own artwork in pale blue ceramic enamel which has been permanently fired on in the kiln. It is approximately 22mm in diameter .

With the exception of the standard Willow Pattern this was probably the most popular of all blue-printed designs in the second half of the 19th century, and even into Edwardian times. Ralph Swan of the Swan Bank works, Tunstall was probably the original manufacturer of the Asiatic Pheasant pattern, which he produced in blue, black and brown. The pattern was later also made by Podmore & Walker, Wedgwood and many others.

Please note - Listings marked 'NEW' are from the ranges we are currently making and 'VINTAGE' are unused items that we have had stored for many years.
