4 cups of Macro Algae Chaetomorpha Chaeto for Marine Aquarium Refugium
Banish unsightly algae to the refugium with FlaminHotChaeto. Chaetomorpha or Chaeto is a macroalgae that effectively consumes phosphates and nitrates in the marine aquarium. Having this in a lighted refugium will help keep unsightly algae out of the display. The specimen in the picture is what you will receive. 4 measured cups of Chaeto.
The Chaeto will ship in a sealed bag compacted and flattened in a bubble envelope with a little amount of water to keep it moist. Once the Chaeto is acclimated to your tank it will puff up, and in the right water parameters and light will grow quickly.
Chaeto is very hardy but the quicker it gets into your tank the better. Happy to help with any dead on arrival issues, but I do ask that you contact me within 3 hours of delivery and send pictures validating DOA. Quick ship via USPS First Class. I ship Monday - Wednesday to avoid the extra time that weekends might take.

Please note that Chaeto will often lose some size and volume during shipping. Chaeto is very hardy and does well in the mail, but you may experience shrinkage up to ½ of what was measured when initially shipped. In a refugium with the good parameters and light for Chaeto, this Chaeto will fluff up and grow rapidly. I use the measuring cup as pictured, fill it up to the cup line of your order, lightly compact it down, top it off back to the cup line of your order, and then ship.
