This small Benham silk first day cover was issued on the 2nd of February 1999.

The set of four stamps from the millennium series were the Travellers’ Tale Commemoratives and consisted of four stamps in the set.

This cover features the 43p stamp, which is of a Victorian Railway Station ( growth of public transport).

The cover is postmarked:- Travellers, Linking the Nation, Portsmouth, 02.02.99.

Pictorial postmark with the head and shoulders of Isambard Kingdom Brunel inside. The front of the cover also shows Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

There is a lovely silk picture on the cover of boats.

The reverse of the cover has information in entitled:- Linking the Nation, which is about Brunel.

Information card bordered in gold about Mark Austin is also enclosed. He is an English journalist and working as an American correspondent working for Sky News( imprint of silk picture on front of cover on this).
