Here I have from my very own personal collection a extremely fine G Owen Royal Worcester vase.
Presented in duck egg blue with pale pink highlights to the neck and base, it can only be described
as a superb example of G Owens work with three cartouches all hand painted with flower studies,
all high lighted within a fine gilt border . Have not seen many at all in this color combination
and must be all to rare. The pale blue adds a touch of elegance to it.
This is your chance to acquire your very own George Owen vase.
It is 8.5 cm tall and in wonderful condition, no restoration, cracks, hairlines, crazing, reticulation is pristine, gilding is pristine
save a tiny blemish on the top inner rim. Most sellers would not even mention but full disclosure here.
All the reticulated panels are perfect as are all the gilded gold dots and the gilding in general looks as fresh as the day it was made.
Date coded 1892. Raised enamel dots on the collar also pristine.
What else can I say but in this condition, and in this color combination rare rare rare.
Have started the auction at a fair valuation I feel as I paid a strong price for it back in the early 2000s ( Owen vases were never cheap even back then) and considering its in Au dollars very good value to English, Euro and American ebayers.
Lately have seen several of this vase in all white only sell for very high prices at auction houses ,1000 to 1500 pounds plus.
Overses postage will vary depending on where you live but not allot of weight to this one so not a big expense.
International shipping is welcome.
Will be very well boxed rest assured.
Any questions happy to answer
Happy bidding
